Is it ok to expect from Son in law to call his in-laws atleast twice a week like daughter in law is expected to call her in-laws daily?

My husband doesn’t call my parents even on their birthdays and visit them just for 1-2 days twice in a year and I don’t have any problem with this till the time he is good with them and respect them which he does. But i am expected to visit my in laws 4-5 times in a year and each time for two weeks atleast and I have to call them daily that too when I am full time working like my husband. If missed to call them 2-3 days then a complaint is registered to my husband that I have become so busy that I don’t have time for parents. I don’t even call my parents daily. Recently I went to US for 1 week only for deputation and I was so busy and due to time difference I called them just once in whole week and it became a huge issue in my family.

And when it comes to helping us when my baby was born or I suffered from dengue or we were short of few lakhs while buying the house then it was my parents who came forward for help. I don’t have any problem if someone is not helping me but I have a problem when I am forced to do something which doesn’t make any sense.”
