What if a Malayalam lesson could be tasted, shared, and experienced?

For Grade 3, Ms. Deepthi chose to do just that. While teaching “പലഹാരക്കൊതിയന്മാർ”, she felt that the lesson shouldn’t remain only on the pages of a textbook. So, she brought it to life with a delightful traditional snack feast featuring some of the delicacies mentioned in the lesson. 😋

Suddenly, words had a taste.
Names had a story.
And learning became something the children could see, smell, taste, and share. ❤️

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞.

After reading The Wit That Won Hearts, our Grade 8 students transformed Tenali Rama’s wit and wisdom into original comic strips. Through imaginative storytelling, expressive illustrations, and engaging dialogues, they reinterpreted the story in their own unique way.

This art-integrated activity nurtured creativity, critical thinking, communication, and visual expression—proving that the deepest learning happens when students create.

Kudos to Ms. Bini for bringing literature to life through meaningful art integration and inspiring every child to become a storyteller.
