Grade 3 - SST activity--✨ **INDIA – A LAND OF DIVERSITY!** ✨🇮🇳
🌏 **Learning Beyond the Textbook!** 📚💡
Our **Grade 3 students** explored the concept **“India is a Land of Diversity”** from their **Social Studies (SST) lesson** through an engaging **Experiential Learning Activity**. 🎒🌈
Instead of just reading about India’s diversity in their textbooks, our young learners **experienced it through costumes, food, language and presentations!** 🤩👏
👗 **Different State Costumes**
Students dressed up in the traditional attire of different states, beautifully showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage. 🥻👳♂️👗🎭
🍛 **Exploring Traditional Foods**
Our young learners prepared and presented different traditional foods from various states, discovering how food habits and flavours change across India. 😋🍲🥘🌾
🗣️ **Learning About Different States**
Students confidently spoke about the states they represented, sharing interesting information about their **culture, traditions, food, language and lifestyle**. 🎤🗺️📖
🌈 **Understanding “Unity in Diversity”**
This activity helped students understand that although people across India may have **different languages, clothes, food, traditions and cultures**, we are all connected as **one nation – INDIA!** 🇮🇳❤️
💡 **Experiential Learning in Action!**
Through this hands-on activity, students developed **communication skills, confidence, cultural awareness, creativity and a deeper understanding of the concept**. 🌟🧠🤝
