Kanicka Mary, M.A. (English), B.T., Retired Headmistress a spinster, dedicated her entire life in educating the rural students.St. Mary's Institutions aims at quality education for all, teaching students the moral values and making them responsible, God fearing citizens

and more over a good human being. This is a continuous process and this institution is a ladder, which many a student have climbed and reached heights in their careers and life. Tough it's a small establishment; a strong foundation is laid here, where the students' life is built over it. Miss. A. Kanicka Mary (K**a), the founder of St. Mary’s Educational Institutions dedicated her entire life for the educational development and uprising of the rural students of Jolarpet and Tirupattur.

She was a simple, down to earth, highly motivated, inspiring teacher, following the preachings, serving the needy and poor all her life, never ending helping hand, a servant of God.

A true solider of Lord Jesus Christ handed over her life to God on the last day of July 2020.
