Namaste, everyone! 👋
Every year on October 2nd, we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti to remember the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, the leader whose ideas lit the path of India's fight for independence 🇮🇳. The day brings back the values he stood for: honesty, peaceful resistance, and a modest way of living.
All over the nation, people come together for prayer gatherings, rallies for harmony, and community clean-up campaigns that carry forward his vision. Schools and colleges hold talks, short plays, and tributes that bring his story and lessons to life. 🏫
Gandhi felt that true power comes from being patient, kind, and morally brave. Campaigns such as the Salt March and his struggle against unfair treatment of people still motivate new generations. The UN also honors this date as the International Day of Non-Violence, showing how far his message has travelled. 🌍
Let this day remind us to bring truthfulness, calm, and self-control into our daily routines, so that his legacy stays alive. ✨
Team ETA sends warm wishes to all for a thoughtful and uplifting Gandhi Jayanti!
