Consuming nutritious food is important at all stages of life especially for children.Socratees Model School celebrated National Milk day on 26th Nov, 24 to recognize the importance of milk and dairy foods in everyday meals and the role they play in children's health. The aim of organizing this programme was to motivate the children to drink milk in this era of processed and packaged food and to educate the students about the nutritive value of the milk. Students brought various milk products as snacks on the day.
Milking demonstrations was conducted as an activity. Kinder Garten students were involved in a fun filled activity of cow mask making activity. The students enjoyed the day by also wearing the cow mask.

Socratees Model School students had an enriching experience on visiting the Photo Exhibition at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University on 7th November, 2024 conducted by Archeology and Cultural Awareness Program department. Professors introduced the displays and also narrated the collections clearly and interestingly to students and staff. The visit was really informative to students.
