Thirumangalam Annai Fathima Arts and Science College Hosts "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Business" Workshop

Thirumangalam, 08.01.2025 – The "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Business" workshop was held on January 8, 2025, at the multi-purpose auditorium of Thirumangalam Annai Fathima Arts and Science College, under the guidance of College Chairman Mr. M.S. Sha , College CEO Mrs. Shakeela Sha, Principal Dr. A. Peer Khan and Vice-Principal Dr. Saravanan. The workshop was organized by the Tamil Nadu Government's District Industrial Entrepreneur Development and Innovation Institute in collaboration with the College.

The event began with the Tamil Thai Valzhu and was opened with a welcoming speech by the College Coordinator and Head of the Tamil Department, Dr. B. Muniyandi. College Principal Dr. A. Peer Khan delivered the inaugural address, and Vice-Principal Dr. Saravanan presided over the event. The special guest, Mrs. Archana Veeravel, District Project Manager of the Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institute, Madurai, Government of Tamilnadu shared insights on various aspects of entrepreneurship. Her address covered topics such as the preparation required to start a business, how to secure loans through the District Industrial Center, training for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, and solutions for common challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Her speech aimed to inspire students to pursue entrepreneurship. The workshop provided a platform for students to get motivated to become entrepreneurs. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. I. Sameembanu, Head of the Business Department. Over 500 students participated in the workshop, along with faculty members such as Mr. Thangappandiyan, Mr. Karthik, Mrs. P. Ramuthai, Mrs. R. Arumugajothi, Mrs. C. Jyothi, Selvi. M. Mayil, Director of the Physical Education Department, Mrs. Praveena, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, and Mrs. Thilakavani and Mrs. Roseline, Assistant Professors in the Business Department.
The event was meticulously coordinated by the College's NSS Programme Officer, Dr. P. Muniyandi, along with the College’s System Engineer J. Uthaya Kathiravan, Surya Prakash, Subash Chandra Bose, the NSS Volunteers, and the Hotel Management Department students.
