Introduction
The Higher School Certificate Profile of Student Achievement is intended to be a permanent record of all the syllabus outcomes achieved by students undertaking Stage 6 Life Skills courses as part of their HSC pattern of study. How the profile is produced
A Higher School Certificate Profile of Student Achievement is issued to each student who satisfactorily completes one or more Stage

6 Life Skills courses. The profile lists the syllabus outcomes achieved by the student for each Life Skills course in the student's HSC pattern of study. The school records these outcomes in Schools Online at the time of collection of Higher School Certificate assessment marks. The profile should provide the most complete picture of the student’s achievement in all Life Skills courses satisfactorily completed at the end of Stage 6. For this reason, schools may record outcomes achieved before Year 12 for courses that are completed in Year 12. Teachers can collect data to inform this reporting process by downloading the individual Life Skills Outcomes Worksheet(s) for the Life Skills course(s) the student is studying. Personalised versions of the Life Skills outcomes worksheets for each student can also be downloaded from Schools Online. For further information regarding accessing the personalised worksheets, refer to Entering data for a Profile of Student Achievement for the HSC. When Schools Online is open for submission of Life Skills outcomes (refer to the Preliminary and HSC Events Timetable), schools will need to indicate via Schools Online those outcomes that have been achieved by the student, either independently or with support, for each Life Skills course the student has been entered for. The Higher School Certificate Profile of Student Achievement will then be generated by the Board of Studies NSW and provided to the student along with the student’s Higher School Certificate credentials.
