THE BEGINNING:
• 1 March 2006 was a historic day on which more than 2500 people expressed their confidence in the Montfort Brothers by registering and expressing their willingness to entrust their wards to the care of the Brothers in the upcoming school.
• This happened under the thatched roof, when a few concrete pillars were the only signs of the school to be established.
• Dispelling all doubts

and misconceptions the first phase of Montfort School was built in less than six months time; on June 19th 2006, Montfort School – CBSE affiliated Co-education institution created history by virtue of admitting a strength of 1100 students on roll in the very year of its inception with classes from KG to Std. VIII.
• It was indeed a beautiful history of destiny written by the Creator, which became a reality. 35 well qualified and experienced faculty pledged their commitment to the cause of the noble mission of teaching.
• Rev.Bro. Mariannan, the founder Principal of Montfort School, Kattur spared no effort in taking care of the enviable architectural master piece as well as the development of those under his care.
• He was at the helm from June 2006 - June 2011. Dhanaraj, the former Provincial Superior of Trichy Province took over the reins and has hitherto been involved in the beautiful mission of education to live up to the lofty ideals and goals that underline the Montfortian vision and mission. NOTE:
• Montfort School, Trichy doesn't encourage the currently studying students to use the social networking sites and so we do not have any official page named after us for common group discussions among students.
• If any such group/page is found to exist and managed by the present students of Montfort School, Kattur, Trichy, then those students will be reported to Rev. Principal without any prior warning or information.

MONTFORTIAN'S always come out with flying colors and they have done this time too... here we present the results for the year 2014-2015 standard 12:
school first 479/500 .
35 students have scored above 400 !
100 % result
First mark in chemistry is 99 and 3 students have scored 95+.
In Maths 95 is the first mark and 9 have scored 95.
in Physics 95 is the first mark and three have scored it.
In Computer Science 96 is the first mark and 3 have scored 95 +.
In Biology 97 is the first mark and 15 have scored 95+.
In English 97 is the first mark and 29 have scored 95+.
These achievements are not that very easy and they have achieved them through their hard work. Congrats people . God bless you all !

presented - An Intra school cultural festival at Montfort school, Kattur, Trichy.

This fest was oranized on the theme - A movement to create awareness for the betterment of our mother earth.

There were 20+ events organized for almost 1000+ students. More than 500 students actively participated in various events held for students from standard VII to XII. The fest day proved out to be the most vibrant day in the montfortian history.

It was all about a start and the alumni's of Montfort school, Kattur yet again proved they are real montfortians. They used all their potentials to their best to make this day a grand success. The Montfort Old Students Association (MONTOSA) is yet again a blessing to Montfort school, Kattur, Trichy.

The chief guest for the day was Mr.M.A.Malluk Mohamed, Director and Correspondant, MAM Institutions, Trichy.

The winners were awarded with prizes along with a sapling each as a rememberence of this very big day of their life and as a rememberence of our theme

There were two students who were crowned the title winners,
Ram Kumar - Best Montfortian Boy 2015
Cynthia Paul - Best Montfortian Girl 2015

The two title winners were surprised with a cash prize of ₹10k each by the chief guest of the day.

This was just a first dot. will be back again with yet another huge stage very soon. Until then, We the old students of Montfort school thank each and every soul who was the reason for the grand success of this day.

This was not just a fest, It's an emotion for every old student of Montfort school.

The post meeting along with a general meeting will be held on April 19, 2015 (Sunday) from 11am - 12pm in Montfort Hall at Montfort School, Kattur, Trichy

Registrations, Next steps, future plans and much more are to be discussed during the meet! It's time to be back to school! Welcome montfortians!

Registrations for all batches till the current passed out batch of 2014 - 2015 will be done during the and also during this meet. Students kindly download the registration form from here https://www.facebook.com/download/preview/1432734980354933 and kindly fill it and bring ₹200 while submitting the form. The forms can also be submitted at the school office during the school hours on any day.

For those who have paid and registered already, Kindly don't worry about this registration process. The complete data base of the registered members is with us. Also, the registered members will soon be provided with a Unique montosa registration identity card which you should be having with you for every montosa event.
