As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign (September 17 – October 2), IIM Tiruchirappalli launched a comprehensive series of cleanliness and wellness initiatives designed to engage both its staff and students in creating a healthier campus environment.

IIM Trichy organized a comprehensive wellness checkup program for its staff, while students conducted extensive cleanliness activities across various areas of the campus. These dual initiatives reinforced the importance of personal health and environmental hygiene, creating a holistic approach to wellness and sanitation.

Through such impactful programs, IIM Trichy continues to nurture a mindset centred on shared accountability, environmental consciousness, and meaningful community participation among all stakeholders.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign (September 17 – October 2), IIM Tiruchirappalli organized a series of cleanliness and awareness initiatives both within the campus and in the community.

The IIM Trichy community demonstrated outstanding commitment by conducting dedicated cleanliness drives at the Neerpalani Health Center and the Renaissance Malarchi Special School. Students and staff collaborated to enhance hygiene standards and create healthier environments for these essential institutions and the people they serve, extending the spirit of this campaign beyond campus boundaries.

Through these purposeful initiatives, IIM Trichy reinforces its dedication to fostering a culture of collective responsibility, environmental stewardship, and active social engagement among all its members and partners in the community.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign (September 17 – October 2), IIM Tiruchirappalli (IIM T) will be conducting various programs to emphasize the importance of collective responsibility towards maintaining hygiene and sustainability.

The initiative witnessed strong commitment from the IIM Trichy staff, who took a pledge to champion this cause. Beyond participation, the staff also conducted an informative session with our campus cleaning team, equipping them with valuable insights and knowledge about the significance and impact of this important initiative.

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Education, the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) is observing Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 from 17 September to 2 October 2026.

As part of this nationwide cleanliness campaign, IIMT has planned a series of activities, including cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and other community-focused initiatives, aimed at promoting cleanliness, hygiene, environmental responsibility, and active participation among students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.

Through these initiatives, IIM Tiruchirappalli reaffirms its commitment to fostering a clean, healthy, and sustainable campus and encouraging the spirit of Jan Bhagidari (people's participation) towards a cleaner and more responsible India.

As Daksha 5.0 drew to a close, the final moments brought together two days of conversations, perspectives, and shared experiences.

Singing the entire Vande Mataram together for the first time created a powerful moment of pride, patriotism, and unity. 🇮🇳

The Director In-Charge, Prof. Godwin Tennyson, shared reflections as we brought the conclave to a close, with Valedictory Speaker Capt (Dr) Pranav Prasoon Thakur leaving the audience with thoughts to carry forward.

When our national song fills the air, every voice becomes part of something bigger. 🇮🇳

At Daksha 5.0, the IIM Tiruchirappalli community came together to sing Vande Mataram in its entirety, honouring the national spirit and observing the directives of the Government of India.

For those few moments, there were no separate voices, roles, or titles-just one community, standing together for the nation we call home.

What does it take to build a workplace where people feel valued, treated fairly, and empowered to do their best?

The panel on “Empowering People, Enabling Performance: Work, Fairness and the Moral Contract of Organizations” at Daksha 5.0 explored trust, fairness, and the responsibility organisations have towards their people.

The conversation reflected Daksha’s effort to bring academia and industry closer, with the Daksha Research Studio (DRS) taking this engagement further through applied research.

Because great performance begins with people who feel supported and empowered to contribute.
