Dear alumni & students,
Ever worried that you have never got a chance to perform on the stage during your college days? How many of us have done so many things in college out of passion but we have left them all once we graduate? How many times we would have felt, “can’t guest lectures be more interesting?”
Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) has come with answers for all these questions. For the very first time at NIT Trichy, alumnus from various batches are coming together for a cultural night where they will be performing various arts not just to entertain their junior friends but also to spread a message at AlumNITTe.
“Alumni will be speaking about their journey during and after their college life. A 30 minutes cultural performance followed by a 10 minutes inspirational talk is what we have planned for this Saturday night. Come and enjoy this weekend with our own very young alumni”, says Shruti Kela, President of OAR. “Most importantly, this is the first time that Alumni are coming down to the campus and performing arts. These people coming here today have followed their passion beyond the campus and are still into it while some have converted their passion into profession. This is a very important message and is the reason why we wanted them to talk”, she added.
The programme is scheduled to happen at 06:00 pm in EEE Auditorium on 30 January 2016 (today). OAR wanted to continue this every year so that it also acts as a platform for the passed out students to show their talent.
Come. Let’s give our alumni a grand welcome who have come all the way to entertain us.
