Visual-spatial skills:

Puzzles require you to visualize and mentally manipulate objects and shapes. This enhances your spatial awareness, pattern recognition, and the ability to mentally rotate and transform objects in your mind. These skills are valuable in fields like architecture, engineering, and design.

Puzzles also help children develop finger strength, perseverance and problem-solving skills. The child learn to turn, flip, slide and wriggle pieces into position. Picking up, moving and twisting the pieces of a puzzle helps children to develop finger strength and hand-eye coordination
