Initially, the school was called Boiler Plant Higher Secondary School, and it was renamed RS Krishnan in memory of the first executive director of BHEL. Obituary
Dear Rskites,
Earlier on the 26th of August, we lost a dear friend and a promising young mind. Ruban Anto, one of the enthusiastic alumni from the recent batches, succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident near Thuvakudi, Trichy. More details are awaited.
Ruban is the son of our dear Fathima Akka, the Bio Lab assistant. He was very active on the alumni circuit during OSCARs and GAGA. I remember seeing the face of Fathima Akka, looking at her son in pride, when he stood on stage delivering a Speech during OSCAR 2014.
I knew him personally, and how he came up in life through struggles to reach the levels he was at. He would have become a great guy one day. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Yet another life lost. Yet another dream wasted. Yet another promise killed. Yet another aspiration snuffed out.
Let us pray for his soul to rest in peace, and for his family to have the strength through these tough times. And for all of us to be more careful on the roads. It need not necessarily be your fault that could be fatal...
