RURAL INTEGRATED CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION TRUST, a non-governmental organization, was registered under Indian Trusts Act, 1882 at Manapparai on 4th November 2008 so as to build a better society through charitable actions. JOSEPH’S INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION AND ARTS, a social service organization with an aim to serve the poor and the needy of the society, was established at Malaiadipatty in the year 19

89, in remembrance of Rev. Joseph’s College, Trichy. The founding members of this organization got government jobs in due course of time but the desire to serve had never diminished. One of the members, Mr. Thomas Maria Soosai Rajan, B. Ed., D.Comm. (Lyon, France) took initiative to register under Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Thus was born Rural Integrated Childcare and Education Trust (RICE TRUST). Over the years, we have been involved in the field of Child Care, Supervised Study, Sponsorship programme, Human Rights Awareness programme, Education, Women Empowerment Programme, Eradication of Child Labour, Farmers Training Programme, Naturopathy, AIDS Awareness programme, Health Care, Development of Communication skills, Career, Guidance and Counselling for the young people for the past several years. Our Trust is committed to instill human values among the children and the youth so as to lead a happy and successful life.
