# # # TEKACE Leadership Reveal 2026–2027 🎓✨

The **TEKACE Association’s Office Bearers’ Induction Ceremony 2026–2027**, themed **“Leadership Reveal,”** was successfully conducted on **12 August 2026** at the **SRIT Auditorium** under the aegis of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

The ceremony was presided over by **Principal Dr. J. David Rathnaraj** and convened by **HoD Dr. M. Senthamil Selvi**, with **Ms. K. Radhika** and **Mr. B. Rajagopal** serving as Association Coordinators.

🌟 **54 enthusiastic student leaders** were formally inducted into four Office Bearer posts, 15 Executive Member roles, and 10 specialized Committee Teams, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for TEKACE.

The programme featured an inspiring inaugural address by **Ms. S. K. Sulakshana Devi**, SRIT alumna (2021–2025) and Junior Software Engineer at **StorTrack India Pvt. Ltd.** She shared valuable insights from her journey from campus to industry, along with practical guidance on **internships, placement preparation, and career planning**.

The ceremony also included traditional **lamp lighting, bouquet presentation, introduction and badging of the newly inducted members, and a vote of thanks**.

The **fourth day** of the Six-Day Faculty Development Programme on **“Product Design, Development and Commercialization”** was successfully conducted at the **SRIT–AICTE IDEA Lab**, featuring two insightful and engaging sessions on innovation, intellectual property, patents, design thinking, and human-centred product development.

🔹 **Session 1: Innovate, Protect and Create – A Journey from Patent to Product**

The session was delivered by **Dr. S. Mary Praveena, Associate Professor/ECE**, who provided valuable insights into transforming innovative ideas into impactful products. The session highlighted the importance of **innovation, patents, intellectual property rights, and product development**, inspiring faculty members to explore creative ideas and transform them into practical, sustainable, and commercially viable solutions.

The second session was handled by **Mr. R. Sivakumar, Entrepreneur, Compressed Air Treatment Products, Trisule Technologies Private Limited**. The **Department of Science and Humanities**, in association with the **Science Club, Math Club, and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)**, collaboratively organized a hands-on workshop titled **“Exploring Probability and Statistics in Engineering Mathematics using AI Tools”** on **20 August 2026** at the **CC5 Lab**.

The programme was organized by the students of **II B.E. CSE and B.Tech. IT** with the objective of demonstrating how **AI-powered tools can enhance mathematical problem-solving, data analysis, visualization, and interpretation**.

The session featured **Mr. Vigneshwaran R**, Senior Technical Engineer, **Vi Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., Chennai**, as the resource person. With 11 years of professional experience in software debugging, hardware testing, embedded validation, and PCB fault analysis, he provided valuable technical insights to the participants.

💻 **Key Focus: Hands-on Training in Raspberry Pi Programming & Debugging**

The faculty members gained practical exposure to:

The **ELECTRICUS EEE Association Inauguration 2026–27** was successfully organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at **Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT)** on **18.08.2026** at the PG Seminar Hall.

The programme commenced with the **Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu**, followed by the Welcome Address by **Dr. G. Kannayeram, Associate Professor/EEE & Electricus Association In-charge**. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony marked the beginning of a new academic journey filled with learning, innovation, collaboration, and growth.

The event featured a Felicitation Address by **Dr. S. Sangeetha, HOD/EEE**, followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest, **Mr. K. Balamurali**, by **Mr. Amuthan A, Office Bearer of Electricus**. The Inaugural Address by the Chief Guest inspired students to continuously strengthen their technical knowledge, skills, and professional outlook.

The session was coordinated by **Dr. S. Benjamin Francklin, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering**, and **Dr. A. N. Jayanthi, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering**.

The day featured an insightful session by **Mr. Hariharan, Founder & Developer, Bloomatic Innovations Pvt. Ltd.**, who shared valuable industry perspectives on transforming innovative ideas into commercially viable products. His session covered **ideation, design methodology, rapid prototyping, customer validation, intellectual property protection, business models, and entrepreneurial ex*****on**.
