Engineer's Day Celebration at Tagore School,

In honor of Sir M. Visvesvaraya's legacy, Tagore School, Tiptur, proudly celebrated Engineer's Day. The event was highlighted by an inspiring address from Dr. Hadimani Shivakumar, BE, M.Tech, PhD, a renowned Professor of Electronics and Communication at KIT, Tiptur.

In his speech, Dr. Shivakumar paid tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, recognizing his remarkable contributions to engineering and nation-building. He explored various topics within electronics and communication, focusing on the critical role of modulation in signal transmission. He also explained the distinctions between analogy and digital signals, shedding light on their importance in modern communication systems.

The students and staff of Tagore School were deeply influenced by Dr. Shivakumar's expertise and engaging presentation, which encouraged many young minds to pursue careers in engineering, following the legacy of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

The event was attended by Mrs. Shashikala Anil General secretary of Tagore Educational Society, and Mr. Farooq, Headmaster of Tagore English Higher Primary and High School. The program saw active and enthusiastic participation from both students and staff.

Tagore School recently hosted a Parent Orientation Program, featuring esteemed pediatrician Dr. Madhusudhan from Vaibhavi Children's Hospital as the chief guest. During his address, Dr. Madhusudhan highlighted the critical role of parents in prioritizing their children's health and hygiene. He emphasized that cleanliness is a vital part of daily life, significantly influencing overall health. Dr. Madhusudhan underscored the importance of basic hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing, bathing, and maintaining cleanliness during meals, urging parents to make these habits a routine to ensure their children’s well-being and development.

The event was graced by Dr. Anil, President of Tagore School, and Mrs. Shashikala Anil, Administrative Officer, alongside Mr. Farooq, Head master of tagore English higher primary and high school, The program saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and school staff.

Tagore School recently hosted a Parent Orientation Program featuring a workshop by Dr. Padmakshi Lokesh, a renowned psychologist from Tumkur, titled "The Art of Parenting: Addressing Mobile Addiction and Enhancing Study Skills."

In her address, Dr. Lokesh highlighted that children act as mirrors, reflecting the behaviours they observe in their parents. She stressed the critical role parents play in shaping their children's future, with schooling being only one aspect of their overall development. Dr. Padmakshi Lokesh encouraged parents to model positive behaviours and values to help secure a successful future for their children.

At the Hobli-level High School Sports Meet held at Kalpataru Stadium in Tiptur, students from various schools across the taluk enthusiastically participated. Tagore School was well represented, with around 50 students taking part in multiple sports competitions and winning several accolades.

In the girls' category, Hiranmayi and Pratiksha both secured first place in Chess, Sahana earned second place in Shot Put, and the Kho-Kho team clinched second place as well. In the boys' category, our Throwball team also achieved a commendable second place, bringing great pride to our school.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners on behalf of the school.
