On 28 February, 2021 the entire Nation is celebrating the epoch making discovery of C V Raman, the Raman effect that took place on the same day in 1928 as the NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY. In consonance with the nationwide celebration, I have prepared a presentation on the topic to make our school students and common people understand immense contributions of Raman to the world of science and technology. In order to make this presentation simple for our young students, I have compromised a bit with the actual technicalities of the Raman effect (my only objective has been to popularize Raman and his contributions and to generate interest amongst the young students of our state towards science).
