പ്രളയത്തിൽ സാങ്കേതിക സഹായവുമായി തൃശൂർ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളേജിലെ ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഇന്നോവേഷൻ ക്ലബ്ബായ ഐഡിയേറ്റർ മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങുന്നു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ പ്രളയകാലത്തു പവർബാങ്ക് നിർമാണം, പ്രളയനാന്തര ഇലക്ട്രികൽ റെസ്റ്റോറേഷൻ വർക്സ് തുടങ്ങിയ മാതൃകാപരമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ക്ലബ്‌ കാഴ്ചവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഈ അത്യാവശ്യ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ക്ലബ് മുന്നോട്ടു വെക്കുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ :
1.ബൾക് കാൾ സിസ്റ്റം
പ്രളയമുഖത്തു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന വോളന്റിയേഴ്സിലേക്ക് നേരത്തെ റെക്കോർഡ് ചെയ്തു വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സന്ദേശം കാൾ ചെയ്തു അറിയുക്കുവാനുള്ള സംവിധാനമാണിത്.എത്ര നമ്പറിലേക്കു വേണമെങ്കിലും ഒന്നിന് പിറകെ ഒന്നായി കാൾ ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കും.ഇത്രയും നമ്പറുകളിലേക്കു ഒരേ സമയം എസ്എംഎസ് എത്തിക്കാവുന്ന ഓട്ടോമേറ്റഡ് മെസ്സേജ് സിസ്റ്റവും സജ്ജമാണ്.ഇതോടൊപ്പം അപകട സാധ്യത മേഖലകളിൽ താമസികുന്നവർക്ക്‌ മുൻകൂട്ടി നിർദേശങ്ങൾ അയക്കാനും എമർജൻസി ഫ്ളഡ് അലെർട്ടുകൾ നൽകാനും ഇതുവഴി സാധിക്കുന്നതാണ്.
2.ഹെൽപ്‌ ലൈൻ.

തൃശൂർ ജില്ലാ കളക്ടറേറ്റ്മായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തികൊണ്ട് ഐഡിയേറ്ററിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ, കളക്ടറേറ്റിൽ ഹെല്പ് ഡസ്ക് പ്രവർത്തനസജ്ജമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ സംരഭത്തിനായി തൃശൂർ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളേജ് യൂണിയനും കൈകോർക്കുന്നു. നാലാം വർഷ ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥി ജോൺ തട്ടിലിന്റെയും മെക്കാനിക്കൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി അഭിരാമിന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആണ് പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടക്കുക.
പ്രളയമുഖത്തുള്ള പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക്,കൈത്താങ്ങാവാനും രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ കാര്യക്ഷമമാക്കാനും വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഏവരും സഹകരിക്കുക.

വേണ്ട സാമഗ്രികൾ
1. 8 AA ബാറ്ററി
2 . USB വയർ

അദ്യമായി 4 AA ബാറ്ററി എടുത്ത് ഒന്നിന്റെ ചെറുതായി പൊങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്ന ഭാഗം (+) അടുത്തതിന്റെ പരന്ന ഭാഗത്ത് (-)മുട്ടുന്ന രീതിയിൽ
ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക. അടുത്ത 4 AA ബാറ്ററികളും ഇതുപോലെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക.
(വയർ ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.) അപ്പോൾ സ്വതന്ത്രമായ രണ്ട് അറ്റം ഉണ്ടാകും ഒന്ന് പരന്നതും (-)അടുത്തത് ചെറുതായി മുന്നോട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒന്നും (+).
അതിനു ശേഷം രണ്ടു സെറ്റിന്റെയും ചെറുതായി മുന്നോട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന അഗ്രം വയർ കൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക (+) .
അതുപോലെ തന്നെ രണ്ടു സെറ്റിന്റെയും പരന്ന ഭാഗങ്ങൾ (-) തമ്മിൽ പരസ്പരം ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക.
ഈ രണ്ടു സെറ്റും പരസ്പരം ഉറപ്പിച്ചു വെക്കുക.
ഫോണിന്റെ ചാർജറിന്റെ പിന്നിനു സമാനമായ പിന്നുള്ള ഒരു USB വയർ എടുക്കുക അതിലെ ചെറിയ പിന്നാണ് നമുക്കാവശ്യം. അതു കൊണ്ട് അതിൽ നിന്നും കുറച്ചകലത്തിൽ വച്ച് മുറിക്കുക. അതിന്റെ മറുവശത്തെ വലിയ പിൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.
അങ്ങനെ മുറിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം അതിനു പുറത്തെ പാളി എകദേശം 3 സെ.മി കളയുക അപ്പോൾ കാണുന്ന വയറു കളിൽ ചുവപ്പും (+) കറുപ്പും(-) എടുക്കുക
വയറുകളുടെ ആവരണം കളയുക. അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തിളങ്ങുന്ന ചെമ്പുകമ്പിയിഴകൾ കാണാം.
കറുത്ത വയർ(-) മുൻപ് ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചു വെച്ച ബാറ്ററി കളിൽ സ്വതന്ത്രമായ പരന്ന (-)അഗ്രത്തിൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക. ചുവന്ന വയർ(+) ബാറ്ററികളിൽ സ്വതന്ത്രമായ ചെറുതായി മുന്നോട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന അഗ്രത്തിൽ(+) ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക.
ബന്ധനമെല്ലാം ഉറപ്പുള്ളതായിരിക്കണം.
അതിനു ശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമുള്ള പ്പോൾ പിൻ ഫോണിൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചാൽ ചാർജ് ചെയ്യാം

Ideator ,The Innovation Club proudly announces that our Joint Convenor Tony C A (S5,PE ) has actively taken part in the development of the 'AugmentedGEC' app which paved innovative ways for campaigning for the union election held last week.He is an active member of the Infusory designs team which introduced the Augmented Reality election campaigning in the campus which received huge appreciation from the whole college ,alumni as well as the media.Such efforts from the part of students has always been a motive for many inspired minds to spark their ideas.The club also congratulate Adhil Khan(S5,PE),Shyam Pradeep(alumni) and Ajay Aravind(S5,PE) from GEC who are also members of the startup incubated at the college.These brilliant minds has introduced this innovative idea which has complimented the campaigning process and was a great success too...

On September 15, Engineers’ Day is celebrated consistently every year in India remembering the birthday of one of the best engineers in India so far and an extraordinary person Sir Mokshagundam Visvesayya, famously known as Sir MV. Year 2018 will check the 50th commemoration of the Engineers Day in India and 157th birth commemoration of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesayya. Sir MV was globally well known for his splendor and his extraordinary accomplishment in saddling water assets in India. From the invention of the wheel in ancient history to the modern day drones, engineering constructs have provided the vital push for the progress of human technology. Taking note of how important engineers are for the growth of nations, countries around the world celebrate the Engineer’s Day.Tribute to all the legend engineers from Team ideator.
This EngineersDay thank all the engineers because of whom world is a better place to live.

Ideator begins its journey igniting young minds.
The first general body meeting of Ideator club for this academic year was conducted on 13 September 2018. More than hundred students from several branches participated in the introductory meeting. Convenor warmly welcomed the budding engineers and a talk session by faculties Dr Thajuddin Ahamed, Dr Shalij P R , Shincy madam and Jai John sir was conducted. Students from all branches participated in the icebreaking session which followed. Senior ideator members actively took part in the meeting to share basic knowledge in mechanical, electrical, electronics engineering and several other technical fields. The success of the meeting lies in the immense participation of students, faculties and co-ordinators.
Ideator once again welcomes inspired brains to fire up their ideas and emerge out in flying colours.

While overcoming the hitch kerala recently gone through,gathering the technical knowledge we have and a mind to work and help other people ,we realized the importance of technology and innovations in our daily life.

One more golden feather to the Ideator Innovation club of Gec Thrissur.

We proudly announce that about 65 numbers of rechargeable power banks were made by the students of Ideator club,Gec Thrissur,as a part of disaster management.These were handed over to Wayanad to support the flood rescue team. The team has been striving since the flood days to supply the flood affected areas with immediate use power banks. Now they have again come up with the idea of rechargeable mobile chargers which is worthy of an applaud.
Such socially relevant projects from the side of students has become an asset to the club and a matter of pride to our institution.The story of resilience resonates as a mark in the history of the club.

Another successful year of ideator ended with the farewell and handing over ceremony at production seminar hall on Friday. It had been a wonderfull year for ideator. Also a busy one with 4 ongoing projects. This year also saw commercialization of idearor's former products. With the renovation and inventory expansion done this year ideator is prepared fulfill the needs of students for years for come. The ceremony was grace ed by the presence of prof. Parameswaran and prof. Anil. Former convener Amal Tp expressed his thanks for the cooperation he recieved from the members and faculty. New executive committee was announced under which ideator hope to climb new heights.Ideator wishes our former members success in all their future endeavours. Keep making us proud.
