Dr Rajeev Jayadevan, Senior Gastroenterologist and Dep. Director, Sunrise Group of Hospitals comes to TMC for a *Mentoring & Interactive session* on *21st Feb* for our students presented by IMA-MSN wing, Disha College Union 18-19.

A CMC Vellore graduate, the speaker is not just an accomplished practitioner, he’s also a prolific and internationally acclaimed trainer, eminent author and columnist, motivational speaker and so much more. The interactive session will focus on Life after MBBS, IIT/IIM/MBA prospects for doctors, research and fellowships in India, practising medicine abroad and similar topics.

As a part of world epilepsy day (17.10.18) an awareness programe was conducted by IMA,IMA MSN mulankunthukavu.Our beloved principal Dr.Andrews sir enlightened us on the recent concepts of epilepsy.Thanks to all students for their participation.

POCSO class was taken by Dr.Smitha muraly IMA vice president mulankunthukavu to MBBS students.As a part of childrens' day celebration.All students were given leaflets and hand bands by the child help line department .

നവംബർ 14 ലോക പ്രമേഹ ദിനത്തോടാനുബന്ധിച് IMA, IMA MSN മുളങ്കുന്നത്തു കാവ് ബ്രാഞ്ച് വിവിധ പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി."കുടുംബവും പ്രമേഹവും "എന്ന പ്രമേഹദിന സന്ദേശത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച ലഘുലേഖകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുകയും രക്തത്തിലെ ഗ്ലുക്കോസ് (പഞ്ചസാരയുടെ )അളവ് നിർണയിക്കുന്ന പരിശോധിനകൾ ചെയ്യുകയും ഉണ്ടായി.
IMA പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ.അമർജയന്തി ആധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച പരിപാടി ,മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് പ്രിസിപ്പൽ ഡോ.എം.എ.ആൻഡ്രൂസ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിച്ചു.മെഡിസിൻ വിഭാഗം അസ്സോസിയേറ്റ് പ്രൊഫസർ ഡോ.എം.രാധിക പ്രമേഹത്തെ കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.IMA വിദ്യാർത്ഥി വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ സജീവ പങ്കാളിത്തം കൊണ്ട് ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി.IMA സെക്രെട്ടറി ഡോ.റെനി ഐസക്.,RMO. ഡോ. മുരളി.എന്നിവരും വിഷയത്തെ കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു.

ഏപ്രിൽ 7 ലോകാരോഗ്യ ദിനാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി IMA MSN,IMA Mulamkunnathukav വും കമ്യൂണിറ്റി മെഡിസിൽ വകുപ്പും സംയുക്തമായി Universal health Coverage # Health for all എന്ന ആശയത്തെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കിടയിൽ ഗ്രാഫിറ്റി മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു . വൈകീട്ട് 4 മണിക്കാരംഭിച്ച പരിപാടിയിൽ അവണൂർ PHC മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ Dr. മിഥുൻ ലോകാരോഗ്യ ദിനത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയും ആശയത്തേയും കുറിച്ച് കുട്ടികൾക്ക് അവബോധം നൽകി. നാലു ബാച്ചിലെ 8 പേരടങ്ങുന്ന ടീമാണ് മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. വ കമ്യൂണിറ്റി മെഡിസിൻ ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റിലെ ഡോ: ജയ, ഡോ: സഫ, ഡോ: ഡിബിൻ, Dr: ആതിര എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു വിധികർത്താക്കൾ . ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനം ഒന്നാം വർഷ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കും രണ്ടും മൂന്നും സ്ഥാനം യഥാക്രമം രണ്ടാം വർഷം ,നാലാം വർഷം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും കരസ്ഥമാക്കി.ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനം Bbq Nation ൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഫുഡ് കൂപ്പൺ(sponsored by ML പോളി മേക്കാട്ടുകുളം )രണ്ടാം സമ്മാനം Ming Palace നിന്നുള്ള ഫുഡ് കൂപ്പൺ (TMCAA സ്പോൺസർ ചെയ്തു.) മൂന്നാം സമ്മാനം N Beas Food mall സ്പോൺസർ ചെയ്തു.മെഡിസിൻ ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെൻ്റിലെ Dr റെനി ഐസക് പരിപാടിക്ക് നിർദേശങ്ങൾ നൽകി. വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ മികച്ച പങ്കാളിത്തം പരിപാടിക്ക് മാറ്റേകി.

*Graffiti rules*
1. One team per batch
2. Maximum of 8 individuals
per team
3. Time : max 3 Hours + 15 mins for theme presentation and discussion.
4. Topic: Universal health Coverage
for all.
5. U can start preparing ideas on the topic now itself.
6. Graffiti should be prepared in the auditorium in the space provided for the team. All raw materials including sunpack, paints, charts etc must be brought by the participants.
7. Decorating materials are allowed.
8. Pre printed articles, Mobile Phones and Photos are Strictly Prohibited.
9. One person should present their graffity, explaining the theme and contents to the Judges during the presentation time at the end of 3hrs.
10. Judgment based on conveyance of theme, Creativity, lay out, quality of articles,content and style of writings, presentation and discussion of the topic, Utilization of space and Overall impact.
11. Final Rules and minor changes (if any) will be informed prior to the start of the event.
12. The prepared graffiti will be displayed to the public and staff in the hospital premises.

April 7 ലോക ആരോഗ്യ ദിനം ആയി നമ്മൾ ആചരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഈ വർഷത്തെ ആശയം universal Healthcoverage # Health for all എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി IMA MSN, IMA Mulamkunnathukav and Department of Community medicine സംയുക്തമായി ഒരു Graffiti Competition നടത്താൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച വൈകീട്ട് 4 PM നു കോളേജ് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വച്ച് നടത്താൻ ആണ് തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. മത്സരത്തിന്റെ Theme Universal Health Coverage for all എന്നുള്ളത് തന്നെയാണ്. ഒരു ബാച്ചിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു Team നു പങ്കെടുക്കാം. ഏവർക്കും സ്വാഗതം.

The first phase of a remarkable venture by IMA MSN Thrissur,IMA Mulangunath Kavu and Kerala Police Department came to an end leaving the participants stronger ,betterwilled and poised to learn more.

The self defence class came as a gift to the female staff and students of TMC on the evening of March 8 -International Women's Day.

Dr.Amarjayanti,the president,IMA -Mg kavu gave a pleasant welcome note following which Dr. M.A.Andrews, the Principal , Medical college Thrissur inagurated the function.

Words of felicitation by Vanitha cell CI Shubavathi Madam;Dr.Shobana,Principal, Dental College Thrissur, Dr.Babu Thattil, Physical education Department and Medical college SI Ameer Ali sir is worthy of mention ,for it signifies that goodness will be ever supported.

A team lead by Shiji Mam taught our students and staff the need and methodology of very essential self defence strategies.

Dr. Reny Issac thanked the gathering.

The whole programme was organised by medical college police and thrissur city police.

World cancer day യുടെ ഭാഗമായി തൃശൂർ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് Radiotherapy വിഭാഗവും കോളേജ് യുണിയനും സംയുക്തമായി ചേർന്ന് തൃശൂർ ജില്ലാ തലത്തിൽ cancer awareness campaign നടത്തുവാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.ഇതിനോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ സ്കൂളൂകളിൽ യൂ പി വിഭാഗം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി ക്യാൻസർ ബോധവൽകരണ ക്ലാസും ഒപ്പം പോസ്റ്റർ രചന മത്സരവും സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌.
