Nirmal Jyothi Central School, Mundur, celebrated 19th Annual Day with the Theme, “THE FILIAL ‘22” (The Chief Nourisher of Life- Family Love) on 20th December 2022. The occasion was graced by Shri. Xavier Chittilappilly, MLA (Inaugural Address), Shri. Ankit Ashokan IPS (Chief Guest, City Police Commissioner), Rev. Sr. Gracy Mathew SH (Presidential Address), & Rev. Fr. Davis Panamkulam (Benedictory Address).
The school welcomed the gathering with pomp and reverence. The ceremony was felicitated by Smt. Usha Teacher, Shri. Jimmy Choondal, Smt. Leela Ramakrishnan, Rev. Sr. Tresa Mathew SH, Smt. Mary Paulson and Adv. C.T. Shaji.
The evening commenced with the lighting of lamp, followed by presentation of the annual report by the Principal Rev. Sr. Mercy Joseph SH. Soon after, Rev. Fr. Davis Panamkulam announced the publication of school magazine “THE FILAL”. The magazine was handed over to Shri. Xavier Chittilappilly (MLA). The whole event meticulously transported the theme of Annual Day.

Thrissur Sahodaya competitions were conducted on 3rd, 4th and 5th of November, 2022 at Arafa English School, Attur. We live in a cut throat competitive world; hence we need to determine whether every child is ready to contribute to the competitive and interconnected world. The logo designed by Nirmal Jyothi Central School was recognized and awarded, out of 150 participating schools. More than 85 students of our school participated in various events. 7 students secured the prizes. Moreover, 6 team items and 11 individual items were secured A grade.

The City Police, Peramangalam Police, Saint George School- Ezhaamkallu and Nirmal Jyothi Central School jointly launched "Yodhave", an anti drug campaign on October 20th, 2022 to eradicate drug abuse among the youth. Peramangalam Circle Inspector Mr. Ashok Kumar and the Mundur Health Inspector Mr. Rakesh Kumar delivered an eloquent speech on the day.

On 29th September 2022, our school organized a science exhibition program in our school premises. Students from every class participated in the event. The students presented different types of models which were related to different branches of science such as physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and psychology. Our honorable Chief Guest Mr. Sivadas (Rtd. Principal, Kerala Varama College, Thrissur) along with the Principal explored the entire exhibition. The program concluded with the prize distributions to the winners of each section.
