Mixed Signals, the Electronics Association of Model Engineering College is the joint endeavour of the staff and students of The Electronics Department. Keeping a solid vision behind, Mixed Signals aim at organising programs and activities for the benefit of members, engineering students and the public. The manifest aim of Mixed Signals is to promote interest in Basic Electronics and Circuit Design

among students by arranging exhibitions, lectures, seminars, discussions, demonstrations, industrial visits, contests, and competitions.

Is that a beagle in your pocket?

We're not talking about puppies, but the very versatile, credit card sized, low power open hardware computer that is referred to as the BeagleBoard.

Mixed Signals, the Electronics Association of MEC is hosting a platform for learning to handle this piece of technology, the first of many workshops that will be a part of a Technical Workshop Marathon.

The pair of workshops will be held on 20th and 22nd July 2019.

The first session will include an introduction aimed at preparing you for further development on the BeagleBoard. This means we'll cover linux kernel, cross compiler, fit, shell scripting and a few other topics you just can't do without. The second session will get you guts deep into the technology that is BeagleBoard and get you familiarised with the nitty gritty.

Time: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
