Victoria skilled migration update

The Australian Government has allocated 5,000 skilled visa nomination places to Victoria for the 2024-25 program.

Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) – 3,000 places
Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – 2,000 places

STUDENT VISA FEE HIKE
As of 1 July 2024, the base application charge component of the first instalment of the VAC for Student visas is increased from $710 to $1,600. The additional applicant charge component for any other applicant who is at least 18 is increased from $530 to $1,190, and the additional applicant charge component for any other applicant who is less than 18 is increased from $175 to $390.

Team BEC Global attended 'James Cook University – Admission Day event' in Bangalore.

The event had dignitaries from AIU, Secretary General - Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Australian High Commission, University Grand Commission and AICTE.

The event acted as a great platform for us to connect with our prospects and understand what they are looking for. This was a very engaging opportunity and we are thankful to JCU for inviting us.

The students who attended got a chance to connect with Academic team, Alumni, Current student and JCU Staff to explore and decide if JCU Singapore will be suitable for them.
Discussions were felicitated with admissions and registrar teams to explore more about visa requirements and eligibility for the attendees.

Team Bec Global participated in an Agent Training Workshop organized by James Cook University, Australia on May 9th, 2022 in Kochi, India.
The team members Nikhila Menon, Junaith Rahman, Jeevan Viju were felicitated with the participation certificate. We are pleased that we were able to learn more about the courses they provide, their campus that we can share with our aspiring students.
It was a good opportunity for learning as well as networking.
