Woman Safety Awareness Program

The Women Empowerment Cell of our college successfully conducted a Woman Safety Awareness Program with the objective of educating and empowering students and staff on personal safety, legal rights, and self-protection measures.

Our college successfully conducted a Career Guidance Session for the 12th standard students of Thiruvanmiyur Government Higher Secondary School.
The session aimed to provide clarity on various higher education pathways, professional courses, and emerging career opportunities. Our faculty members guided the students on choosing the right stream based on their interests, strengths, and future goals.

*Hackathon/Idea Challenge @ DBJC*

The Department of Computer Science, in association with IIC and IQAC, successfully conducted an Intra-Department Hackathon/Idea Challenge Competition on developing a web page and business proposal for innovative ideas.

About 65 students enthusiastically participated and showcased their creativity. The session began with a welcome address by Dr. B. Jagadhesan, HOD of Computer Science. Mr. Srinath Gururajan, Trainer and Assessor – Career, served as the Resource Person and presided over the event held in the Alumni Block Computer Lab on 30th October 2025.

The event was well-coordinated by Mrs. Devi in a highly organized and planned manner. The competition motivated students to apply their technical and entrepreneurial skills effectively..chidambaram
