"Exploring Real-World Architecture

Our 2nd-year Architecture students from DC School of Architecture and Design Vagamon embarked on an exciting live case study visit to two remarkable residences - *Bhavati House* by Dhrumam Architects and *Round Corner House* by the visionary Ar. Jose K Mathew!

Through detailed observations and interactions, students gained invaluable insights into the design philosophies, spatial arrangements, and sustainable practices that make these homes truly exceptional.

Structure as Space Maker
Architecture is the Story, Structure is the Language — Weaving Space, Material, and Movement

Students will explore how structure goes beyond support to become a vital storyteller in architecture.

Through the lens of the human body and material analogies, participants will engage in hands-on form-finding exercises, using origami and movement studies to discover how structure defines, shapes, and breathes life into spaces.

The workshop also delves into how structural logic and material choices influence architectural form, encouraging a deeper sensitivity to the poetry of construction and the language of design.
