Jothydev's Professional Education Forum Diabetes, though an ancient disease is a difficult to treat medical condition posing a real challenge to the treating team.

Jothydev's Professional Education Forum(JPEF) was established with the sole objective of imparting basic and advanced knowledge in diabetes for professionals involved in the care of diabetes. To overcome the challenges and win the battle, periodic scientific updates are mandatory for all those treating the disease. According to the guidelines issued by the major international scientific organizations, people with diabetes should receive medical care from a physician-coordinated team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, mental health professionals etc. Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Center is primarily involved in research and education in diabetes and has generated hundreds of original diabetes research publications nationally and internationally. For more than a decade the centre has been actively involved in Continuing Medical Education activities. Jothydev’s Professional Education Forum (JPEF) is formed in response to the numerous requests from doctors of various specialities and other professional staff involved in day to day diabetes care. Apart from conventional CME activities, JPEF will also organise educational events incorporating national and international faculties. JPEF also conduct Annual Conventions every year with participation of over 50 faculties from across India and abroad. It is considered to be one of the biggest diabetes conventions in South India with delegates from across the country attending various scientific sessions .

JPEF 2026 | Day 3 Highlights

As the curtains came down on the 14th JPEF Annual Global Diabetes Convention 2026, Day 3 concluded an extraordinary three-day celebration of science, education, collaboration, and innovation.

Over the course of the convention, more than 2,500 delegates and 183 distinguished faculty members, including 7 international experts, came together to exchange knowledge, share research, and discuss the latest advances in diabetes, obesity, artificial intelligence, diabetes technology, and precision medicine.

The conference featured a rich scientific programme comprising keynote lectures, symposiums, workshops, panel discussions, debates, prestigious orations, interactive case discussions, and hands-on training sessions, reaffirming JPEF’s position as one of India’s leading academic platforms in diabetes care.

JPEF 2026 also set new benchmarks through the publication of selected abstracts in the International Journal of Diabetes & Technology (IJDT), recognition of outstanding young researchers, the unveiling of the upcoming IJDT publication “Should Dengue Vaccine Be Prioritised in People with Diabetes?”, and pioneering initiatives such as Robo Girl and Robo Boy, highlighting the transformative role of technology in healthcare.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the unwavering support of our delegates, faculty, industry partners, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and the dedicated organising committee.

JPEF 2026 | Day 2 Highlights

Day 2 of the 14th JPEF Annual Global Diabetes Convention 2026 marked a truly memorable milestone with the official inaugural ceremony, graced by Shri K. Muraleedharan, Hon’ble Minister for Health, Government of Kerala.

The conference continued to witness enthusiastic participation from more than 2,500 delegates and 183 distinguished faculty members, including 7 eminent international experts from Austria, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, the UAE, and other countries.

A proud academic moment was the launch of the International Journal of Diabetes & Technology (IJDT) Abstract Supplement, featuring selected abstracts from around 70 scientific submissions received from institutions across India, including Government Medical Colleges, private institutions, and engineering institutes.

The inaugural ceremony also witnessed the presentation of the JPEF Young Researcher Award to Dr. Masuma Yasmin, Kolkata, selected from nearly two dozen outstanding applications received from young researchers across the country.

Another memorable highlight was the unveiling of the first look of the upcoming IJDT publication, “Should Dengue Vaccine Be Prioritised in People with Diabetes?”, by the Hon’ble Health Minister.

The scientific sessions continued with inspiring keynote lectures, workshops, symposiums, panel discussions, debates, prestigious orations, and hands-on learning experiences, while innovative initiatives such as Robo Girl and Robo Boy continued to captivate delegates and showcase the future of diabetes technology.

What an inspiring start to the 14th JPEF Annual Global Diabetes Convention 2026!

Day 1 brought together leading clinicians, researchers, diabetes educators, and healthcare professionals from across India and abroad for a day filled with learning, innovation, and collaboration.

JPEF 2026 welcomed more than 2,500 delegates, 183 distinguished faculty, including 7 international experts from Austria, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, the UAE, and other countries. The conference also witnessed enthusiastic participation from government medical colleges, private institutions, and engineering institutes.

The scientific programme featured engaging keynote lectures, workshops, symposiums, panel discussions, debates, prestigious orations, hands-on sessions, and interactive case-based discussions, creating an exceptional platform for advancing diabetes care.

A major academic highlight was the overwhelming response to our call for research, with around 70 scientific abstracts submitted from institutions across India, including Government Medical Colleges. Selected abstracts were published in the International Journal of Diabetes & Technology (IJDT).
