- Sascan Meditech Pvt. Ltd. incubated at SCTIMST TIMed was adjudged the winner of the award under the Startup category for the indigenous development of OralScan - a non-invasive handheld optical device that can help in screening oral cancers at a very early stage and also in biopsy guidance.
The award was declared by the Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, at the Valedictory function of the celebrations held at Pragathi Maidan, New Delhi, on the 14th of May 2023. Dr Subhash Narayanan, the Founder CEO, and CTO of Sascan Meditech Pvt. Ltd., accompanied by Vinodkumar Damodaran, the Marketing Director, received the award (cash prize of Rs Fifteen Lakhs ). The event was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister.
