Orthodox Christian Youth Movement of the East (OCYM) with its three- fold path " Worship, Study and Service" is functioning as the youth organisation of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Established in 1936, it aims at moulding the minds and visions of the youth against the background of the contemporary issues. The organisation is blessed with a series of visionary leaders who showed their love a

nd commitment towards church and youth. A spiritual organisation with the name Yuvajana Sangam was working effectively in various places and parishes along with other organisations like Sunday school, suvishesha sangam etc. They helped a lot to anchor the mother church safely in the storm created by the renewal group. During its long history through these years the organisation has grown and flourished much and is a community that unite youth of Malankara Orthodox church together. Diocese of Thiruvananthapuram was formed in January,1979. OCYM acts a backbone of the diocese, Districts & Units vibrantly. Geevarghese Mar Dioscoros & H.G. പ്രിയമുള്ള യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനം അംഗങ്ങളെ,

പരിശുദ്ധ പരുമല തിരുമേനിയുടെ ജന്മനാട്ടിൽ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ക്രൈസ്തവ യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കാതോലിക്കാ ദിനാഘോഷവും യുവജനസംഗമവും സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. 2023 മാർച്ച് 26 തീയതി ഞായറാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് 3:00 മണിക്ക് മുളന്തുരുത്തി മാർത്തോമൻ പള്ളിയങ്കണത്തിൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ ഭദ്രാസനത്തിലെ എല്ലാ യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാന അംഗങ്ങളെയും ഈ സംഗമത്തിലേക്ക് ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു,കഴിവതും യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാന അംഗങ്ങൾ ഇതിൽ വന്ന് സംബന്ധിക്കണമെന്ന് അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

മലങ്കര ഓർത്തഡോക്സ്‌ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ റാന്നി നിലയ്ക്കൽ ഭദ്രാസനത്തിലെ ഡീക്കൻ ബിനോജി മാത്യു മന്നാകുഴിയിൽ കർത്താവിൽ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു.

മൈലപ്രായിൽ വച്ച് ആക്സിഡന്റിനെ തുടർന്ന് പരുമല ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ ചികൽത്സിയിൽ വെച്ചാണ് മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത്. പത്തനാപുരം മൗണ്ട് താബോർ സ്കൂളിലെ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായിരുന്നു. ഓർത്തഡോക്സ്‌ ക്രൈസ്തവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സജീവസാന്നിധ്യവും ഹയർസെക്കണ്ടറി മേഖലയിലെ നേതൃസ്ഥാനവും വഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. ശവസംസ്‌കാരം പിന്നീട്. മലങ്കര ഓർത്തഡോക്സ്‌ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ വൈദികനായ ഫാ. മാത്യൂസ് മന്നാകുഴിയിലിന്റെ മകനാണ്.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഭദ്രാസന യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ കലാമേള സർഗാത്മകം- 2022 ഭദ്രാസന മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത അഭി.ഡോ. ഗബ്രിയേൽ മാർ ഗ്രീഗോറിയോസ് തിരുമേനി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഭദ്രാസന യുവജനപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഉപാധ്യക്ഷൻ ബഹു.ഫാ. എബ്രഹാം തോമസ്, മുഖ്യകാര്യദർശി ശ്രീ.ജെറിൻ സോമർവെൽ, കേന്ദ്ര സമിതി അംഗങ്ങളായ ശ്രീ.ലിജിൻ രാജൻ, ശ്രീ.സ്റ്റീഫൻ വർഗീസ്, ട്രഷറർ ശ്രീ.സിബിൻ.വൈ, കലാമേളയുടെ മുഖ്യ സംഘാടകനായ ബഹു.ഫാ. ജോർജ് വർഗീസ് എന്നിവർ സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു. ഈ കലാമേളയുടെ വിജയത്തിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രയത്നിച്ച എല്ലാ മണ്ഡലം ഭാരവാഹികളോടും യൂണിറ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികളോടുള്ള പ്രത്യേകമായ നന്ദി അറിയിക്കുന്നു. മത്സരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലപ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിനുശേഷം അഭിവന്ദ്യ തിരുമേനി വിജയികൾക്കുള്ള സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ നൽകി.അഞ്ചൽ മണ്ഡലം ഓവറോൾ കിരീടം കരസ്ഥമാക്കി.
