Another feather in the cap of Govt. Vocational Higher Secondary School Parassala, as the respected Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the new hi-tech building for VHSE section today. The online inaugural session was presided over by the respected Education Minister Prof.C.Raveendranath and the Finance minister Dr. T.M.Thomas Isac was the chief guest. School buildings were constructed across the state as part of the Public Education Protection Drive. The formal inaugural stone was unveiled by Sri.C.K. Hareendran MLA.

The new High-School Block in Govt.Vocational & Higher Secondary School Parassala was inaugurated by Prof.C.Raveendranath, the Hon'ble Minister of Education, Kerala on 12th October 2017. The respected MLA of Parassala Sri.C.K.Hareendran presided over the function. Sri.V.Arun (PTA President), Smt.V.R.Salooja (Block Panchayath President), Sri.S.Suresh (Panchayath President), Adv.S.K.Ben Darwin (Jilla Panchayath Member), Sri.A.T.George (Former MLA), Smt.T.B.Jasmin (Executive Engineer), Smt.J.Chandrika (HM), Sri.L.Rajadas (Principal-HSE), Smt.R.V.Sindhu (Principal-VHSE) etc spoke. Thanks to the untiring efforts of our MLA Sri.C.K.Hareendran , the PWD authorities, the Contractor Sri.Chandradas and our PTA President Sri.V.Arun for providing the 3 storied building with 9 rooms.

The World Environment Day 2017 was commemorated at Govt.VHSS Parassala and the celebrations was inaugurated by the Jila Panchayath Member Adv.S.K.Ben Darwin. The respected Deputy Director of Education of Thiruvananthapuram Mr.Shine Mon was the Chief Guest.... "Connecting People to Nature", the theme for World Environment Day 2017, implores us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance, and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share.
