A Day of Learning, Giving & Connection

Our Round Square delegates had a wonderful and meaningful time visiting Govt. Model Pre-School, Vlavetty and Govt. Tribal LP School, Vlavetty. The visit was filled with joyful interactions, shared learning, and memorable moments with the students.

As part of the initiative, the delegates donated a large collection of books and helped restore and organise the school library, creating a more vibrant space for children to discover, read, and learn.

More than just a visit, it was an experience of service, connection, and giving back—leaving behind books, renewed spaces, and many happy memories. 📚❤️

A Shared Shore: From Belonging to Becoming

TRINS had the honour of welcoming Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri V. D. Satheesan, to the Round Square Global Conference 2026, where nearly 200 student delegates from across the world came together in Thiruvananthapuram.

Addressing the young delegates, the Hon’ble Chief Minister spoke on two significant Round Square IDEALS — Democracy and Environmental Stewardship — emphasising the responsibility of the younger generation to understand, uphold and work together to safeguard these values for the future. 🌱🤝

The occasion was graced by Mr George M. Thomas, Founder and Chairman, TRINS Group of Institutions; Ms Sapnu George, Executive Director; Mr Gourab Das Sharma, Principal; Ms Mary George.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Chief Minister, an avid reader, was presented with a selection of books. Vrishab Vinod Nair, Grade 9 student, also had the honour of presenting him with his painting. 🎨📚

The TRINS Round Square Conference 2026 was officially inaugurated today at Uday Samudra, Kovalam, bringing together 25 schools united by the spirit of the Round Square IDEALS and a shared commitment to learning, leadership, service and global understanding.

The inauguration began with each school proudly representing its identity through its school flag and a one-minute introduction video, setting the stage for a celebration of diversity and connection. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was led by our Founder, Mr George M. Thomas, followed by a warm welcome address by our Executive Director, Ms Sapnu George. The keynote address was delivered by our Honorary Director, Mr G. Vijayaraghavan.

The occasion was further graced by Ms Mary George, Mr Gourab Das Sharma, Principal, and Mr Suresh Madhavan, Vice Principal, whose presence added to the significance of the gathering.

Inspired by this year’s theme, “A Shared Shore: From Belonging to Becoming,” the conference brings together young minds from across India and the world to celebrate differences, build meaningful connections and grow through shared experiences.

The excitement is building across the city as Trivandrum International School gets ready to welcome 200 delegates from India and around the world for the Round Square Conference 2026—a six-day celebration of service, culture, leadership, heritage, and global connection.

The buzz began today with our Round Square team taking the conference to the press, setting the stage for six unforgettable days ahead! ✨

From heritage workshops and the Kottoor Elephant Rehabilitation Centre to meaningful service activities at Kottoor tribal schools and government schools, a visit to Kanthari, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s visit, the conference promises experiences that go far beyond the classroom.

And there’s much more to look forward to—a vibrant Cultural Evening, Marathon, Onam celebrations, a traditional Kerala Sadya, and the Heritage Library Revamp service project. ❤️
