What if Mathematics felt less like a subject to be taught — and more like something to be discovered?

The Friends School is looking for a Primary Mathematics Facilitator for Grades 3–5 who can help children explore Maths through curiosity, experimentation and meaningful problem-solving.

We’re looking for an educator who can move beyond simply explaining concepts and create learning experiences that help children see, touch, question, test and understand them.

In this role, you will facilitate Mathematics through experiential and inquiry-based learning, use the Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract (CPA) approach and manipulatives, and create real-world projects, open-ended challenges and collaborative problem-solving experiences.

You will also use formative assessment to understand each child’s learning, support diverse learners, build meaningful partnerships with parents, and manage everyday classroom routines and learning experiences effectively.

We’re looking for someone with:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics
• A Master’s degree would be an advantage
• 2–4 years of elementary-level teaching experience, preferably within an inquiry-based curriculum

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who believes that Maths can be curious, tangible, joyful and deeply understood.

The Onam celebration at The Friends School, Venpalavattom Campus brought our students together for a celebration featuring music, dance, singing, and traditional Onam activities. The children actively participated in the programme and enjoyed the festive celebrations with their friends.

A special music programme by Nithin Raj with our students added to the celebration, giving the children an opportunity to sing, participate, and enjoy music together. It was a wonderful Onam celebration filled with culture, creativity, and happy moments.

The ground shook with excitement as students at The Friends School, Venpalavattom, went head-to-head in a thrilling Vadam Vali showdown!

Teams pulled with all their might, cheered on by roaring classmates on the sidelines. Every tug brought fresh bursts of energy, determination and team spirit as the rope swayed back and forth in a battle for victory. It was an unforgettable day and contest at The Friends School campus.
