The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's objectives are scientific, literary and educational in character. The Society strives for the advancement of the theory and practice of robotics and automation engineering and science and of the allied arts and sciences, and for the maintenance of high professional standards among its members, all in consonance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the IEEE and with special attention to such aims within the Field of Interest of the Society.

The ICRA 2017 DJI RoboMasters Mobile Manipulation Challenge runs in a similar setting as RoboMasters 2017. We require contestants to develop an “engineering robot” that can manipulate “obstacles” automatically. However, since ICRA is a research conference, we designed the challenge topic to focus on mobile manipulation and human-robot interaction research. We also hope that this challenging topic can shed light on some research papers.

IEEE Kerala Section Organizing Young professional meetup in Robotics on June 11th 2016 Saturday at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) Cochin.The aim is to provide a platform for networking of professionals, who actually do work in R&A, from academia, industry, defense, government, and also hobbyists.
