Mary's Residential Central School, Thiruvananthapuram was started in the year 1987,and within the short span of eleven years has grown into the stature of a senior secondary school with nearly 1000students on the roll. Abraham, (Sri. Baby Mulamoottil), the Chairman & Secretary of St. Mary's Educational & Cultural Society, Tiruvalla. The Society got registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Society, Regn. Act XII of 1955 in the year 1974. It owns 17 distinguished educational institutions in Kerala and Karnataka. It has got a remarkable history of academic excellence, students' discipline, commendable quality developed by hardworking, dedicated and well-experienced professionals. There are many notable professionals and achievers who are the former students of these institutions and they cherish the memories of a well-disciplined academic atmosphere that they enjoyed in St. Mary's Group of Institutions.

FOR ALL THOSE BORN IN 80’s!
We are the last generation that learnt to play in street,
we are the first who’ve played video games,
see cartoons in color and went to amusement parks.
We were the last to record songs of the radio on cassettes
and we are the pioneers of walkmans and chatrooms…
We Learned how to program the VCR before anyone else,
play with the Atari, Super…. Nintendo
and believed that the Internet would be
a free world all on a 56kbit modem.
Traveled in cars without seat belts or air-bags
& lived without cell phones.
Rode our bicycles down the road without brakes.
We never had phones but still kept in touch.
We did not have Play Stations, 99 television stations, flat screens, surround sound, mp3s, iPods, computers and broadband….
but nevertheless we had a GREAT Time
