The Department of Food Technology organised Career Awareness Program for the students on 7th April, 2026.The topic for the program was ' Functional Food Sector: Emerging Technologies & Career Opportunities'.
The speakers of the sessions, Mr Abinsha Shaju & Mr Midlaj M representing Zeed Drops Research Laboratories International Co., UAE had an interactive session highlighting on the technological advancements, food processing and entrepreneurship.Mr Muhammed Hiyas, Founder, LENRAH Co., Pvt Ltd shared his knowledge on the current scenario of food industries and the emerging trends in functional food sector.Mr Noorul Eman, Founder, ALMAZ100 Global Pvt Ltd shared the real world experiences in the food sectors and motivated students to opt for diverse career options in food technology.
An interactive Q&A session followed, where students actively engaged with the speakers, clarifying their doubts regarding career paths and industry trends.
Overall the program provided valuable exposure to functional food industry and encouraging students to pursue innovative careers.
