The IEEE Student Branch of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering and Technology. The objective
IEEE started off in SCT with the registration of members on 23rd October 2009 with 30 members in its first phase. An IEEE students chapter was formulated and an IEEE student committee was formed. The college and staff have given the chapter, their support to the fullest.

Have you ever walked the length and breadth of Pappanamcode, trying to buy a particular book or pen or something special, but the small shops that dot the area seem to miss your grasp?
If so, we are happy to announce a solution to all your little-big problems!
IEEE SIGHT SCT SB, in collaboration with GDSC SCT SB, is launching a drive to
📍Map all our local shops, which cater to the needs of students, into the Google maps.
📍By doing so, we hope to deliver to everyone, hassle free and time-saving shopping of needs and necessities without having to traverse about 100 shops.
📍We would also be conducting a Google Services awareness drive for our local shop owners, with the aim of making them familiar with the services offered by Google along with its the benefits.
