CII Kerala organized a Manufacturing Excellence Mission to TITAN Industries Ltd, Hosur on 15th July, 2015 and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd on 16th July 2015.

CII has been organizing various industrial visits across the country to create opportunities for members companies, to visit other Member companies, to grab new ideas and innovative techniques that industries follow. The purpose of taking Industrial Missions is to gain knowledge about the process of work which is undertaken by the industry in today’s modern world with stiff competition.

CII, Yi & IWN observing the International Yoga Day. A session on “Yoga for Health & Productivity” was organized on Sunday, 21st June 2015 at 0730 – 0900 hrs followed by breakfast at Hotel Hycinth, Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram.

This program was conducted by ISHA Foundation, which is based in Coimbatore and a renowned center for learning and practicing Yoga. ISHA Foundation is also a member of the yoga expert committee formed by the Government of India.

The introduction of both Ind-AS and ICDS, would bring about significant changes in financial and tax reporting requirements for companies. Keeping these industry defining changes in mind, CII in association with KPMG organized a session on “The changing faces of financial reporting and tax reporting in India: Adoption of Ind-AS and ICDS”. The session provided the participants with an opportunity to hear from eminent speakers from the regulatory, corporate and consulting world on the latest developments and way forward on adoption of Ind AS and ICDS in India, while being able to share ideas and best practices with their peers.

CII Thiruvananthapuram organized Zone Annual Members Day on 3rd March 2015 at Hilton Garden Inn, Thiruvananthapuram.

Over the last 12 months, we have been able to provide need based services for the benefit of our members. This has facilitated better engagement with our members in all the initiatives.

Confederation of Indian Industry, Thiruvananthapuram & CII’s Indian women network(IWN) in association with Kochhar & Co., organized a Session on prevention of Sexual Harassment Act at workplace (Prohibition & Redressal) Act 2013 – Legal overview on Employers Perspective on 11 March 2015 at Hotel South Park, Thiruvananthapuram.

CII in association with Kochhar & Co., brought you a full day training and interactive session on 11 March 2015 at Hotel South Park, Thiruvananthapuram aimed to provide senior members of companies with relevant information on the obligations and responsibilities of an employer company under the Act and rules, especially focusing on the details required in the policy, the constitution and working of the Internal Complaints Committee (“ICC”) of the company, details on the process for investigations and hearings by the ICC, the requirements for training and regular workshops for employees and other key aspects of the Act and rules that help ensure compliance by a Company.

Seminar on Consumer Rights on 30 may 2014 at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn
