Dear Jnites,
The President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Jyoti Nilayam Alumni Association recently met Sr. Litty Mathew, the new Principal of Jyoti Nilayam High School.
On behalf of the Association, we extended a warm welcome to her and introduced the activities and objectives of our alumni association. We also presented her with a copy of the Suvarna Jyoti Souvenir.
During the meeting, we had a preliminary discussion on the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the Association in collaboration with the school. We requested her to spare some time in the coming days for a meeting with a larger delegation from the Association. We also introduced all our office bearers to her.
Sr. Litty brings with her a wealth of experience, having served in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for nearly two decades, followed by assignments in Kannur for half a decade. She also has a previous association with Jyoti Nilayam High School, having served as Vice Principal for about six months in 2005.
The meeting was cordial and encouraging, and we look forward to working closely with the school under her leadership.

A Moment of Pride for Jyoti Nilayam Alumni! 🌟
The Jyoti Nilayam Alumni Association is absolutely thrilled to congratulate our distinguished alumna, Ms. S. Ministhy IAS (Batch of 1988), on being awarded the V. Abdulla Translation Award! 🏆
Ministhy has always been a shining star of our institution. From being an SSLC and Pre-degree rank holder, and a consistent academic topper to her days winning elocution and literary competitions in school, she has always carried a spark for excellence.
Even while serving as a senior IAS officer in the Uttar Pradesh cadre, this native of Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram has never let her "busy working schedules" dampen her love for the written word. Her translation of Benyamin’s work, ‘The Second Book of Prophets’, is a testament to her enduring literary talent.📚✍️
Ministhy, your journey from our school hallways to the Indian Administrative Service—and now to this literary milestone—is an inspiration to every student of Jyoti Nilayam.
