World's first statue of Maharaja Swati Thirunal to be unveiled at Swati Thirunal Music College on 21st of this month( 21/12/22) . The renovated concert hall ( Muthayya Bhagavatar Auditorium ) will also be inaugurated on that day. There will be a Music concert of Dr Sreedev Rajagopal ( HOD, Dept. Of Vocal) accompanied by Sri Attukal Balasubramanyam on the violin , Prof. Kadakkavur Rajeshnath on the Mridangam, Perukavu PL Sudheer on the Ghatam and Kottayam Muralidharan on the Ganjira from 2 pm onwards. We wish to have your glorious presence in this auspicious event

Dear all,
It is with great pride and gratitude that I step down from my home , the reputed Sree Swathi Thirunal Govt College of Music as the Principal, after completing 30 years of humble service by the grace of the almighty. Looking back to the eventful journey, I feel privileged that I could work with almost five generations of academicians at different capacities over the years. A word of gratitude to all the teaching staff non teaching staff students alumni and all others whose continued support and good wishes gave strength and confidence to me in achieving many milestones during my term of office. My good wishes to my colleagues and the forth coming principals to deliver their duties with utmost dedication to the institution. I also promise my selfless service to my alma mater in future as well
