English Phrasal Verbs: “To Hang on” is used when you are asking someone to wait for a moment. “To Hold on” can be used with the same meaning. A similar, more formal, expression is “Just a Moment.”
Example: “Hang on mom; I have to turn the TV down.” “Just a moment, please, I have another call.” How does this picture relate to these vocabulary phrases? Although sources differ here is a list of some fruits and vegetables that have more vitamin C than oranges: Guava, Red Pepper (sweet), Broccoli, Kiwi, Kale, and Strawberries.
