New Horizon Scholars School, Vasant Lawns, Thane proudly celebrated its first Alumni Meet on 11th June 2026 in honor of the school's Founder’s Day. The event was a tribute to the vision and dedication of the school's founder, whose dream of providing quality education and nurturing young minds continues to inspire generations of students.
Around 70 alumni participated in the celebration, including students from the very first batch of the school. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for former students to reconnect with their classmates, teachers, and the school leadership team.
The alumni thoroughly enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities organized especially for them. Exciting games such as Musical Chairs, along with volleyball and cricket matches, added to the festive spirit of the occasion. The former students were delighted to revisit their alma mater and many became nostalgic as they walked through the school corridors and visited their classrooms, reliving cherished memories from their school days.
The alumni were warmly welcomed by the current Grade 12 students. Master Arpit, a student from the present batch, delivered a heartfelt welcome speech, setting a warm and joyful tone for the gathering.
The event was filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful interactions, making it a memorable experience for everyone present. The first Alumni Meet was a grand success and marked the beginning of a cherished tradition that will continue to strengthen the bond between the school and its alumni.

🔬 Physics Practical Activity – Grade XII 🔬

As part of their practical learning, Grade XII students conducted an experiment to determine the resistance of a galvanometer using the Half Deflection Method. Through this hands-on activity, students gained a deeper understanding of electrical circuits, current flow, and the working principles of measuring instruments.

The experiment helped students develop scientific observation, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills while reinforcing theoretical concepts learned in the classroom.
