On August 15, 2026, Azad English High School and Vishal Vidya Mandir jointly celebrated India's 80th Independence Day with great patriotism, zeal, and grand enthusiasm. The entire school campus was decorated with tricolor balloons, flowers, and vibrant rangolis to honor the nation's freedom fighters.
The celebrations commenced with the auspicious lighting of the traditional lamp and Saraswati Pujan by the School Principal, Chief Guest, and Management members, seeking blessings for wisdom and harmony.
The honorable Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolor flag, followed by a crisp salute from the school and the unison singing of the National Anthem (Jana Gana Mana).
The school choir delivered soul-stirring renditions of classic patriotic melodies like Vande Mataram and Ae Watan, filling the audience with pride. Students continued with 'Prabhat Pheri'.
Student representatives and senior faculty members delivered speeches in English and Hindi, highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and reminding students of their duties toward modern nation-building.
Students put on vibrant group dances showcasing regional diversity and patriotic themes, captivating the audience with high energy and synchronized routines.
The event concluded with an encouraging address by the Principal, followed by sweet distribution among all students, teachers, and guests.
