Somewhere a student is crying over a chemistry formula that he/she can't visualize, and somewhere else is a student who just wired a working street lamp with his/her own hands.

Both are learning "science" but only one is going to remember it.

Powered by Curiosity isn't a slogan, it's the difference between a subject that kids HAVE TO LEARN and one that they WANT TO LEARN.

Every classroom has a kid who could be the next scientist or innovator, but potential doesn't wait around for anyone.

The schools which are already running the Robo Scientist kits are watching their students build, wire, and create things most adults would never touched till college.

Every month you delay, another school's students get ahead.

How do non-green plants photosynthesize?
Photosynthesis is one elegant chemical process in plants where six molecules of water (H2O) react with six molecules of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the presence of light energy produce one molecule of glucose sugar (C6H12O6) and emit six molecules of oxygen (O2) as a by-product.

Why is it not possible in other living organisms?
All photosynthesizing plants have a pigment molecule called chlorophyll. This molecule absorbs most of the energy from the violet-blue and reddish-orange parts of the light spectrum. It does not absorb green, so that’s reflected in our eyes, and we see the leaf as green.

For Geeks: Plants that are not in green also photosynthesis with some pigments called carotenoids. Carotenoids are a class of mainly yellow, orange, or red fat-soluble pigments, including carotene, which gives color to plant parts such as ripe tomatoes and autumn leaves.

How good is it to kill animals to produce luxury products?
Millions of animals are tortured and killed every year to make luxury items. Crocodile skin is in high demand in the production of handbags and other luxury items such as shoes, belts, wallets, pillows, and furniture.

We are happy as India has banned the import of exotic skins of reptiles like crocodiles and alligators and furs of certain animals including foxes and minks which are used to manufacture leather or for fur clothing and accessories.

This will spare the lives of tens of thousands of animals from the cruel exotic leather industries.

Several factors make hard-wired Ethernet connections preferable to wireless Internet: speed, latency, security, and stability. Put briefly, an Ethernet connection allows for faster transfer of data from your computer to the Internet. It has less of a lag than WiFi, and it’s less likely to lose connection. Furthermore, wired connections are easier to secure than wireless, reducing your risk of a data breach. All of these are incredibly important factors for businesses that handle large amounts of data and can’t afford even a brief interruption in their connectivity.
That said, although speed is one of the most oft-cited benefits of Ethernet, it’s most important when transferring data through a local area network.
So, when you are home try to connect your laptop/PC with hard-wired if possible for the best internet experience and secure your connection from falling.
