MCA Department of SSCMR conducted a Hands-On Workshop on Demystifying Hypothesis Testing for MCA Students. The Resource person for the workshop was Prof Dr Sameer Phanse, GNIMS Mumbai. This workshop aimed to simplify the concept of Hypothesis Testing for MCA Students through hands-on activities, real world examples and expert insights bridging the gap between theory and practice. Through this session student got clarity on the fundamentals of Hypothesis testing.

The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), in collaboration with AICTE, successfully organized a series of online expert talks from 21st April to 26th April 2025 under the banner of IP UTSAV. This initiative aimed to raise awareness and promote the significance of Intellectual Property (IP) among academic institutions and innovation stakeholders. A total of six days sessions were conducted — one each day — at SSCMR Seminar Hall through Live-streamed via MIC YouTube Channel covering various aspects of Intellectual Property and innovation.

Orientation Program conducted for MMS Students by the external trainer on how to crack high paying job interviews. 4 interns were selected by the trainer. The session was good and useful for the students. Students appreciated the session.

𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐉𝐍𝐏𝐓

SSCMR organized one day study visit to JNPT (Uran) for the MMS students of SEM I and SEM II on 1st November 2024. The main purpose of the visit was to acquaint students with various activities, functioning, etc. related to ports. The students experienced operations like how the containers were moved from the shipping vessel to various areas of ports. They personally visited different restricted areas like administration building, container checking area, etc. and learned different terminologies used in port areas.

Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh’s College of Management and Research was accredited with Grade B++ with CGPA 2.84 by NAAC in Cycle II. The NAAC Visit was conducted on 28th and 29th November 2024.

UGC, MMTTC, University of Mumbai Conducted a short-term course on "E-Content Development " under RUSA from 3rd March 2025 to 8th March 2025. Prof Dr Sudhakar Iyer, HOD MMS was invited as a Resource Person for the two sessions on the topic "Introduction and Importance of E-Content Development and 4 Quadrants of MOOC" at Gokhale Education Society’s, Arts, Commerce & Science, Jawahar, where teaching faculty from various colleges, University departments from Mumbai and other part of the district participated.

MSFDA in association with IOFC India, Conducted a Three Days FDP on "Conclave on Ethics and Values in Higher Education" from 6th to 8th December 2024, Prof Dr. Sudhakar Iyer, HOD MMS was invited as a speaker for one session to speak on "Overcoming challenges while following Ethics in teaching" at IOFC, India Centre at Panchgani, where degree college faculty from various colleges in Maharashtra participated.
