Well! Well! What better way to do Throwback Thursday....than to Recap Our Recent Parish Activity.......
Christmas Fiesta ....which included Games stalls put up by Sunday School Catechists, and Altar Servers...and a wonderful array of tasty food items put up by Mega zones of S.C.Csπ
The Brain wave of Fr. Melvin before the Lockdown and Covid... Finally a reality and was well received by those who had to organise the event as well as all our Parishioners participants -old and young alike!π
It was wonderful to see all from the parish come together to make it a big success...so much so ...we can't wait for the next one!π
Here's a few comments shared by Catechists, Parents and Catechism Students .....that will give You,folks an idea of how it all played out.
: 1)β¦just a small write up from my end. Children were happy that finally after the sports day for youth, for the first time there was a Fiesta specially for kids. They enjoyed each and every game and the food stalls was a sell out with reasonable prices. Hope that we introduce more games and activities next year. For the 1st year it was AWESOME.
2) .....Congratulations and three cheers to our parish priest Fr.Melwin,Sunday School spiritual director Fr.Pawan and all organising team (Catechists/Altar servers/Mega Zones animators) for their zeal ,enthusiasm and support for the success of christmas fiesta.Indeed it was truly joyful experience after two frightening years of pandemic. God bless all our parishioners.wishing MERRY CHRISTMAS and prosperous NEW YEAR 2023 to all. π²π

:3) Seeing little kids, young and old playing games ,winning gift coupons, eating yummy snacks from the food stalls put around was spreading message of love, joy and peace of christmas.
The Third Sunday of Advent (Guadette Sunday): Rejoicing in the Lord - was matching with our christmas fiesta celebration.
4) Teacher I actually really liked the Fiesta it was really fun volunteering.
: It was lovely that even our Teen- age Catechism students were willing to help at the stalls in between enjoying trying their skills at the games stalls and going up to the Church Terrace on Sunday mid morning for a dance session.
5) The Christmas Fiesta held on the weekend of 10th and 11th Dec, was a refreshing start to the festive season. It filled the air with excitement, zest, fun and of course the aroma of a variety of savouries from the food stalls.
The evening commenced with a prayer by Fr. Melwyn. The game and food counters lined up the hall. There was great participation in the games by adults and kids alike that filled the hall with resounding cheering voices. Kids had a gala time trying their hand at a variety of games, where a win earned them reward coupons. Adults shared in the fun with equal zeal.
Youth were seen in large number patronizing as well as helping at counters.
The Fiesta concluded on a high note with foot tapping music on the dance floor.
So, to conclude We The Sunday School Team echo all the above sentiments and feedback with a Big Grateful Thanks to our Parish Priest Fr. Melvin and our Spiritual Director Fr. Pawan...special Thanks Fr. Pawan- for always trusting us to contribute our talents and creativity to plan and implement such events and being our guide and support always walking with us.
Thank you to All our Parishioners..Sunday School children and your families for your enthusiastic participation.
So Until the next one! π Cheers and God bless us All. Have a Joyous Christmas Season and Happy Blessed New Year 2023.
