It was the first computer to win a match against a reigning World Champion, Garry Gasparov. Development for Deep Blue began in 1985.

The project was initially called 'Deep Thought' but changed its name to 'Deep Blue' in 1989. Computer scientists believed that playing chess was a good measurement for the effectiveness of artificial intelligence.

Deep Blue, with its capability of evaluating 200 million positions per second, was the first and fastest computer to face a world chess champion.

Narayana celebrates the 126th year of the birth of Volleyball. It became a part of the official program of the Summer Olympics Games since Tokyo 1964.
Originally called Mintonette, a name derived from the game of 'Badminton', was designed to be an indoor sport, less rough than basketball, for older members of the YMCA, while still requiring a bit of athletic effort.
Competitive teams master six basic skills: serve, pass, set, attack, block, and dig. Each of these skills comprises a number of specific techniques that have been introduced over the years and are now considered standard practice in high-level volleyball. There are many variations
on the basic rules of volleyball.
By far the most popular of these is beach volleyball, which is played on sand with two people per team and rivals the main sport in popularity.
