Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), in collaboration with the Alumni Cell, successfully celebrated National Financial Awareness Day on 14th August 2026 by holding a National Intercollegiate Financial Reel Competition, witnessing overwhelming participation from 48 teams and 81 participants representing DGET Degree College and numerous other colleges' current students as well as Alumni Students.

The Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), in collaboration with the Alumni Cell, successfully celebrated National Financial Awareness Day on 14th August 2026 by organizing a National Intercollegiate Financial Reel Competition.

The event witnessed overwhelming participation with 48 teams and 81 participants, bringing together current students and alumni from various institutions across the country—including a special outstation entry by Ms. Hymavathi Amrutnath (TYBAF, M.O.P. Vaishnav College, Chennai).
