Happy Independence day to all. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ณ
Today's date (15/08/17) is a primitive Pythagorean triple.
"A Pythagorean triple is a set of three positive integers a, b, and c having the property that they can be respectively the two legs and the hypotenuse of a right triangle, thus satisfying the equation ; the triple is said to be primitive if and only if a, b, and c share no common divisor."

Happy Pi day to all.
Some ฯ facts:
Pi is defined as the ratio between a circleโs circumference and its diameter.
Pi is an irrational number, meaning it cannot be expressed as a fraction.
Pi is a transcendental number, a real number that is not algebraic, or in even more technical terms, a real number that cannot be a root of a polynomial equation with integer coefficients.
The number 1 is the most commonly occurring number in the first 100,000 decimal places of pi. It occurs 10,137 times.
If an odd perfect number exists, it must have more than 1500 digits.

Claude Elwood Shannon(April 30, 1916 โ February 24, 2001) was an American mathematician, electrical engineer, and cryptographer known as "the father of information theory".Shannon was famous for having founded information theory with alandmark paperthat he published in 1948. He is perhaps equally well known for founding both the digital computer and digital circuit design theory in 1937, when, as a 21-year-old master's degree student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT), he wrote his thesis demonstrating that electrical applications of Boolean algebra could construct any logical, numerical relationship.
"The great book of nature can be read only by those who know the language in which it was written. And that language is mathematics."
