Sacred Heart High School, Tezpur is an abode where we transform lives by sharpening the young minds. The Sacred Heart High School, Tezpur is built up on the strong foundation of the religious institute called Sacred Heart Congregation, Amala Province founded by Venerable Fr. Mathew Kadalikattil. The Institute is run by the Sacred Heart Sisters with the full support of the experienced, competent and elite faculty board who always responds to the needs of the school and the students. It is a great place to teach and learn! Our teachers are committed to a high quality learning experience focused on the individual needs of each child. We strive to be creative and innovative in our instruction to engage students in their learning through a variety of activities, applications of technology, and 21st Century skills.

Rev. Mother Christopher is the foundress of our prestigious the Sacred Heart High School, Tezpur. Her dream for an educational institution which had an inclusive nature was materialized in the year 1991 with the establishment of the Sacred Heart High School, Tezpur. Ever since, she has been its source of inspiration and driving force , vigilantly watching and accompanying its every step of growth into the fulfilment of its original goal and purpose viz. to be the distributors of the compassionate love of the sacred Heart of Jesus. Thus, from the beginning of the school’s inception its mantle has been providing provision for the education of the under-privileged and the differently abled children irrespective of their caste, creed and religion without compromising the rights and needs of the mainstream.
