To mark a special milestone, AVS Sunnyside celebrated Graduation Day on 30th March for the enthusiastic Class 4 students, applauding their achievements throughout the year.
The celebration featured melodious songs, lively dances and wonderful performances showcasing what the students have learned. The students of Class 3 added charm to the occasion with their graceful dance performance.
The highlight of the day was the proud moment when the Class 4 students walked in their convocation gowns and caps, greeted with warm applause and admiration.
The program also included a heartfelt presentation and a song by the graduates, along with our school song, making the moment even more special and emotional.
The event concluded with the distribution of mementoes, cake cutting and delicious snacks and food, making it a joyful and memorable day for all.

We are delighted to share that Reyansh, a student of Class UKG, has won a Gold Medal 🥇 at the Sonitpur District Taekwondo Championship 2026.
Adding to this proud achievement, he has also been selected to participate in the 4th All Assam Taekwondo Championship 2026, which will be held in Dhemaji from 30th March.

Your hard work, dedication, and spirit are truly inspiring, Reyansh! 👏

“Boarding school is not just about studying together; it is about growing together.”
AVS Sunnyside had organized a boarding school experience for our students from 5th to 7th March 2026.
The boarding school experience for our nine students was truly exciting and memorable. For three days, they had the opportunity to live like regular boarding school students, following the same daily schedule and participating in all the activities of the various house allotted to them .
They attended sports sessions, took part in group routines and experienced the discipline and structure of boarding school life. This immersive experience allowed them to understand the importance of responsibility, teamwork and cooperation.
Throughout the three days, the students learned valuable lessons about togetherness, supporting one another and adapting to a shared environment. It was not only an enjoyable journey but also a meaningful learning experience that helped them appreciate the values and spirit of boarding school life.

Not to miss the meals, which they relished a lot. Sharing meals together added to the joy of the experience and made them feel even more connected as a group.

On 3rd March 2026, Cygnet House celebrated Holi with a special assembly filled with joy and positivity. The program began with a soulful prayer, followed by a speech on the significance of Holi as a festival symbolising the victory of good over evil and promoting unity and forgiveness. Students presented a melodious Holi song, spreading festive cheer. The assembly concluded with a pledge to celebrate responsibly, spread love, and respect everyone.

AVS Sunnyside celebrated Sports Day on 14th February,26 with great excitement and enthusiasm. Students participated in various fun races and thrilling relay races, showing excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. The Zumba session added energy and fun to the event.
The grand finale was amazing, and the Dad and Mom’s races were the biggest attraction of the day. Overall, it was a joyful and memorable celebration for everyone.

AVS Sunnyside organized an engaging and well-planned activity on the theme “Transportation” for Nursery to Class 1 students on Saturday, 21st February. The programme aimed to create awareness about road safety habits among young learners.
The event began with a simple introduction to transportation, followed by a display of creative models of vehicles, traffic lights, zebra crossings and road setups. An interactive session and role play helped children understand traffic rules and signals — red for stop, yellow for wait, and green for go. A student dressed as a traffic police officer confidently demonstrated how traffic is managed.
Special emphasis was given to important road safety rules like using zebra crossings, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding mobile phones while driving, not playing on roads and giving way to ambulances.
The activity was informative, enjoyable and helped children learn that safe roads lead to happy journeys.

The Sonai–Nameri trip was a truly memorable and enriching experience for our students. The children enjoyed exploring nature up close through jungle walks, riverside activities, and wildlife observation. They were thrilled to witness beautiful landscapes, observe a variety of birds, and learn about forests and conservation. A range of fun-filled activities and group games helped them develop teamwork and confidence. This educational trip not only refreshed their minds but also deepened their understanding of the importance of nature and environmental protection. Overall, it was a joyful journey filled with learning, laughter, and wonderful memories.
