We are pleased to invite you to the "Pre-Conference Editors' Meet" of MCC 2025 conference in TLC, TU at 04.00 PM tomorrow. It will be an open session for all of the research scholars of the university irrespective of conference registration. There will be Editors from various journals of ACS, RSC and Wiley. This meet will provide a valuable opportunity to interact with journal editors and gain insights into the paper submission and review process.
During the session, you will have the chance to:
•Understand common reasons for desk rejection of paper without sending it for peer review by the Editors.
•Engage with journal editors and clarify doubts regarding your research submissions.
•Learn more about the concept of "novelty" in research papers and what editors look for.
Key Questions You Can Ask Journal Editors:
•Why was my paper rejected without being sent for review? And how to get rid of it?
•Can you explain the decision-making process behind this desk rejection?What specific factors lead to such a decision?
•What do you mean by ‘novelty’ in a research paper? How do you assess the novelty of a paper, and what aspects do you prioritize when reviewing a paper for originality?
•What can I do to improve my paper’s chances of acceptance in the future?
• Why there are so many papers from some specific regions of the world? Is there any favouritism?
