As the academic year 2022-23 comes to an end, the placement cell would like to take this opportunity to thank all the companies/organizations who came forward to forge a professional bond with ISI NEC at Tezpur. An inexhaustive list of companies that visited us include CerebrumX, iLink, Fuld & Company, Bajaj Markets, Loyalytics, Bandhan Bank, Star Health, 50Hz, DeepIQ, etc. We hope you'll find young professionals in our students, who are committed to learning and furthering the ambitions of the companies they join. A special note of thanks to the faculty coordinators of the placement cell - Dr. Mridu Prabal Goswami & Dr. Kushal Banik, who have stood with us in our hour of need and otherwise, and have been highly approachable and honest with their advice.

All of this couldn't have been possible without the parental role that the Indian Statistical Institute, NEC has played in our lives. From the application based coursework (PGDSMA), to hands-on learning, semester-long project work under supervision of our professors, support from the workers and staff, and numerous other facilities, we are unimaginably indebted to each and every staff here. A general opinion of most of the students dwelled upon the extent of learning that was condensed into this one year course. Many of us have grown from absolutely no knowledge of programming, to fully capable individuals with extensive projects in machine learning, who'll proceed to cater to the demands of the industry and academia.

Some of our students with plans of further studies have also secured their positions in top institutes of their choice. This placement season has recorded a success rate of 73% till now, with rest of the students in the pipeline expecting their results soon (will be updated later). The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the average package offered was 9.67 LPA (excluding interns). The placement cell has received support from each and every student of our small batch, and is committed to work until the next batch arrives (unofficially even further), to see all our students placed.
